After-School Drama Club

Theatre Horizon Drama Club is a process-oriented after-school drama club in which students rehearse and perform a scripted play. Theatre Horizon Drama Club nurtures each child’s talent, creativity, and unique voice while teaching the following skills:

  • Basics of stagecraft
  • Self-confidence
  • Self-discipline and the importance of hard work
  • Creativity and imaginative play
  • How to speak loudly and clearly
  • Listening and observation
  • How to accept others’ ideas
  • How to work as an ensemble

  • Drama Club meets after school for approximately two hours for 17 sessions plus one performance.
  • Classes are held in the school’s auditorium or large multi-purpose room.
  • Drama clubs are also open to township Park & Rec departments and other organizations.
  • Designed for students in grades 1st-8th, divided into age-matched groups (ie, 1st-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th).
  • 15-25 students per club, led by two teaching artists.
  • All of our teaching artists have up-to-date clearances.


$198/student. This covers supplies, royalties, teacher salaries, and insurance. If your school district charges facility rental fees, the price per student may increase. Discounts are available to select need-based schools. Call to discuss other pricing options.
