An exciting, interactive show for kids and their grownups that lets YOU make decisions and be an active participant in the story!

Join us this summer when we transform Theatre Horizon into a school for superheroes. Heroes-in-training will sharpen their super skills while going on an adventure that travels through multiple rooms in the theater. But when the school is menaced by the villainous Polonium Malograve, the students must put their skills to the test and work together to save the day.

Best enjoyed by children ages 4 to 8 and their grownups, but heroes of all ages are welcome. Children age 1 and under are free.

Run time: 40 minutes

Snacks for sale! Come early for activities and crafts!

Featuring: Aram Agahzarian, Fred Brown, Taysha Canales, Hank Curry, Ben Grinberg, Johanna Kasimow, Grace Martin, Brett Ashley Robinson, Michaela Shuchman.

Relaxed Performances

Saturday, Aug 19, 4pm
Friday, Aug 25, 7:30pm

What is a relaxed performance?

Relaxed performances are specially adjusted sensory-friendly shows, designed to create a theatre experience that is welcoming, judgment-free, and inclusive of children and families with a wide range of sensory, learning, and communication differences, including, but not limited to individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as young children and anyone who might benefit from this relaxed environment.

Performance Adjustments Include:

  • House lights will remain on at a low level in the theater during the performance;
  • Lower sound levels, especially for startling or loud sounds; (or refocusing of those moments)
  • A reduction of startling and/or strobe lighting;
  • Freedom to talk, vocalize and leave seats during the performance as needed;
  • Space available throughout the theater for standing and movement and;
  • Limited crowds and visitors through the theatre lobby during the day and timing of the performance.

We invite you to bring noise-cancelling headphones, fidget and stress sensory toys, and/or anything else you may need to ensure maximum comfort and safety.
