Internships

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

"The staff truly made it an incredibly enjoyable experience. I am so happy to say that I am now a part of the Theatre Horizon family."
-Carolyn Chou, former Intern

Working side-by-side with theatre professionals, interns learn the inner workings of a growing professional theatre company. Interns gain valuable experience in all areas of theatre from administrative to production. This is an unpaid position, requiring at least four hours a week. While most of the job is administrative, there will be opportunities to observe the rehearsal process and work with our production staff. If interested, please submit a resume and cover letter explaining your specific areas of interest within our company to info@theatrehorizon.org with the subject line “Intern.”

An intern's story:

"From the moment I walked in, the Theatre Horizon staff made me feel at home. I learned so much from working with Erin, Matt, and the staff. They made sure to always thank me for doing the thankless work and let me see all the sides of running a theatre. From running errands to running events, I felt like I really got to see what it is like to run a theatre.
The skills I honed at Theatre Horizon are not just applicable for theatre. Many of them will be helpful whether I choose to go into theatre or just run a business in general. Theatre Horizon sucked me in and made me a part of the family. It was hard work, but I had so much fun and the staff truly made it an incredibly enjoyable experience. I am so happy to say that I am now a part of the Theatre Horizon family." - Carolyn Chou
