Fat Pig
by Neil LaBute
Directed by Matthew Decker
April 9 - May 1, 2010
Synopsis
Boy meets girl. Boy and Girl fall in love. Boy is handsome and charming. Girl is sweet and intelligent -- and twice his size. From celebrated playwright Neil LaBute, hailed as both genius and misanthrope, this Outer Critics Circle Award winner for Outstanding Play boldly questions our ability to change what we find unattractive in ourselves.
This play is mature in content.
About the Playwright
Acclaimed playwright, director, and filmmaker Neil LaBute has made himself a force to be reckoned with and a name to watch. With his true-to-life cynical and self-absorbed characters and hard-hitting social themes, he has firmly established himself as an unforgiving judge of the ugliest side of human nature. Nominated for multiple Tony awards, he also wrote the movies The Shape of Things, In the Company of Men, and directed Nurse Betty.
