Teen Musical Theatre Summer Camp
Calling all 13–18 year olds ready to “Dare to Dream!” This summer, Theatre Horizon presents a dynamic three-week intensive where young musical theatre artists collaborate with professional teaching artists to bring Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr. to life on the award-winning Theatre Horizon stage. Drawing from a century of beloved Disney films, Dare to Dream Jr. features songs appearing for the first time ever in a Disney stage musical, including fan-favorites from The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Encanto, and Frozen II.
Actors will dive into daily rehearsals and workshops that build singing, acting, movement, and ensemble skills, while also offering opportunities for individual growth and skill-building. Students will rehearse and perform on a professional set, learning what it takes to make a scripted musical soar from page to stage. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or eager to step into your first big show, this camp gives you the space to grow, connect, and shine in a professional theatre environment.
The program runs weekdays, August 3-21 and culminates in two performances for live audiences on August 20 and 21 at 7:00pm.

- Rehearsal and performance on a professional Theatre Horizon set
Students will experience the full arc of a professional production process — from auditions to tech rehearsals to final performances.

Bring Your Imagination to Life!
In Theatre Horizon’s Summer Drama Camp, young actors dive into a week of creativity, storytelling, and theatre games. Through improvisation and collaboration, campers will develop original characters, build unique worlds, and bring their stories to life on stage. The week culminates in a lively showcase where they’ll share their imaginative work with family and friends—complete with costumes and props! Curtain Up!
