tick, tick…BOOM! is a semi-autobiographical rock musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creator of the worldwide phenomenon Rent. On his 30th birthday, a Musical Theater Composer (played by Broadway’s Robi Hager) navigates love, friendship, and everything in between, to achieve his big break. Co-Directors Robi Hager and Steve Pacek will re-imagine this life-affirming story about the pressures of being an artist and the joys of creative fulfillment.

Theatre Horizon is offering more than ever this season with events ranging from a jazz brunch featuring members of the Norristown community to a high-energy show for audiences of all ages to an intimate staging of a favorite musical. And with more to choose from than ever before, you can select the subscription that works best for you.
This season we’re offering three subscription types: a pick-your-own 3-show subscription, a pick-your-own 5-show subscription, and for the Theatre Horizon devotee, a subscription that invites you to see every show in our 2023/24 Season. In line with our reimagined ticket model, all subscription options will feature four price points–two Pay-What-You-Can tiers and two Pay-It-Forward tiers–and will include a free ticket to our Sounds of Norristown: A Jazz Brunch on Saturday, September 23, 2023 (as well as additional subscription perks) as our gift to you.
Here are the quick facts about subscriptions:
- There are 3 subscription types this year: a 3-show subscription; a 5-show subscription; and a full-season (7-show) subscription.
- Each subscription includes a ticket to our spring musical so you don’t have to worry about the show selling out! Each subscription, regardless of level, also includes a free ticket to our first event of the season, Sounds of Norristown: A Jazz Brunch.
- There are four tiers of subscription prices that are based off of our single ticket prices. Just like our single tickets, you can choose the price point that feels right for you.
- Subscribers will receive benefits such as free ticket exchanges, concession vouchers, the ability to reserve your seats in advance of single tickets going on sale, Theatre Horizon merchandise, and—if you opt for our two highest subscription tiers—a complimentary ticket or two so you can bring a friend with you to a show!
