Trash or Treat: Costumes Workshop

Discover theatre in a fun, flexible way! Theatre Horizon’s new workshop series offers affordable, one-time classes for kids, teens, and adults to explore costume design, playwriting, improv, and more. These creative, hands-on experiences provide a welcoming entry point for new students and an exciting opportunity for returning students to dive deeper into specialized theatre skills. Whether you’re an experienced theatre-maker, or just looking to dip your toe into a new skill, there’s something for everyone on the horizon!
This no-sew fashion workshop will end with a “Trashion Show” on the Theatre Horizon stage!
Youth Acting
Ages 7-12
Saturdays, September 20th – November 8th, 2025
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Cost: $250
Through theatre games, acting exercises, and playful ensemble work, students will explore core acting techniques in a supportive and engaging environment. This class nurtures creativity, builds confidence, and deepens students’ understanding of storytelling and performance. Students will develop key theatre vocabulary, practice collaborative skills, and discover their own unique artistic voice while having fun.
Class will culminate in a showcase for friends and family on Saturday, November 8 at 11:00 AM, held in our Theatre Horizon performance space.
